Tournaments

Tournaments offer further playing opportunities during the season.
The Eccentrics are committed to fielding a team in 7s Tournaments run by other cricketing partners.
These include the Corporate Cup run by Edinburgh CC in March and the Ashes 7s run by Jason Evans in February/March.
These tournaments are usually round-robin followed by knock out finals.
Teams have seven players in a match (although the squad may include up to 10 players).
An innings lasts just 6 overs (six bowlers bowl one over each). Very hectic. Prizemoney / trophies involved
