The Eccentrics Cricket Club is based in Fitzroy, Melbourne, Australia.
The club is around ten years old and is led by the Lord of Eccentricity himself – Peter Hille.
Our playing schedule for the summer of 2009/2010 begins on Sunday the 20th of September 2009 with a Super 6′s tournament – the Burwood District Challenge tournament. (For more information see the Post under ‘Recent posts’ on the right of this page)
Our season proper will include matches against our traditional rivals such as the 49érs, the Australian Wine Society, Australian Cricket Society, and the Explorers (played on the beautiful Hume and Hovell ground at Strath Creek, near Kilmore).

And don’t forget the club’s Annual Dinner at the Rising Sun Hotel in South Melbourne on Friday 9th October 2009. Guest speakers are the noted cricket authors and raconteurs – John Harms and Gideon Haigh. Tickets are just $45 and partners and friends most welcome.
