The Eccentrics try to provide a variety of fixtures to suit members and potential members. Thus we have regular Social Matches, field a team in the Melbourne Mid-Week Comp, organise Tours and enter teams in Corporate and Charity Tournaments
Our Social Matches are usually played on Sundays although there are some exceptions. Typically these matches will be 40 overs per innings with limitations on the number of overs any one bowler can bowl and an agreed retirement score for batsmen. Usually 12 players get to take part in each match. This season we have 12 social matches scheduled across 4 Australian states and territories. With one exception these matches are played on turf pitches.

The Eccentrics have entered a team in the Melbourne Mid-Week Comp. This is played on Wednesday afternoons at inner-city turf grounds including our home ground at HH Olney Oval, Yarra Bend. The Mid-Week Comp runs for 5 Wednesdays before Christmas and 5 Wednesdays in the New Year followed by 2 weeks of finals. The draw has not been completed by the Mid-Week Executive as yet.

The Eccentrics are also keen to organise overseas cricket Tours often in partnership with other organisations. A tour to Samoa is planned for easter 2010.

The Eccentrics are committed to fielding a team in 7s Tournaments run by other cricketing partners. These include the Corporate Cup run by Edinburgh CC in March and the Ashes 7s run by Jason Evans in February/March.
